How to Launch a Podcast in 4 Easy Steps
Feb 27, 2023A year ago, podcasting was a bit of an enigma to me. So many of my friends and colleagues had been podcasting for years, and I couldn’t speak their language. Podcasting seemed like just another thing I was expected to do… and didn’t know HOW to do.
Fast forward through a long and ironic story to last summer, when God called me to start a podcast as part of my business suite. Suddenly my internal switch flipped from reluctant to eager. Yes! Podcasting is a thing I will do, and I will do it well!
But how, exactly?
Suddenly, I had to get schooled FAST on how to launch a podcast. A skill set that before had only been a mystery has now become a weekly part of my rhythm and responsibilities. And I’m happy to say, it’s not so mysterious after all.
What’s the best way to launch a podcast? I’m not an expert by any means, but I have successfully launched The Inspired Business Podcast (ranked in the top 2.5% of all podcasts since the first month it went live), and I learned a ton from the podcast gurus I hired to guide me.
So when my Funnel Club clients asked if I’d do a podcast episode on how to launch a podcast, I was glad to do it, and to give credit to the people who taught me well. My own experience was so much simpler and happier than I feared it would be, and I’m still fresh enough off the boat that I can speak from a place of solidarity.
